FLOWERS AND DONATIONS
  We are able to arrange any type or style of floral arrangement and provide a list of all flowers received. Should you specify donations in lieu of flowers, we would gladly collect and list all monies passed to ourselves on behalf of your chosen beneficiary.

ADMINISTRATION OF THE ESTATE
  In cases where the deceased has left a Will it is likely to be necessary to apply for a Grant of Probate before the assets of the estate can be distributed amongst the beneficiaries. The simplest way to deal with obtaining the Grant of Probate is to put the matter in the hands of a Solicitor or Bank who are familiar with all the procedures and can free you of much time and effort. Alternatively, you may apply personally to the District Probate Registry of the High Court, for the Isle of Wight (see LOCAL INFORMATION, below).

Should the deceased not have left a Will he or she will have died intestate, and the question of who will administer the estate will arise. Here again application has to be made to the Court, normally by the next of kin or failing this, anyone who can satisfy the Court as to the validity of their claim. The Court will then issue a document "Letters of Administration" appointing this person to administer the estate.

Where the estate is small, it is sometimes possible to deal with matters without resorting to the measures mentioned, however advice should be sought from the Probate Registry Office regarding the maximum asset value applicable in these cases.
